The falls are beautiful! The area around the falls has been developed without intruding on the falls. There are different sections for viewing the falls and each is reached from a different street. We didn’t have time to make all the walks around city blocks to get the different or better views which was disappointing. Our stop was nice and done well, though.

My wife and I and our puppy visited these falls for the first time, parking on the north side and viewing from that side, along with from the bridge and then from the south side, walking down to the base of the falls.
It was lovely seeing and hearing the water roaring down below and beside us. I hope that Willamette Falls near our home will be accessible and viewable like Spokane Falls.

The highlight of any trip to Riverfront Park is the chance to enjoy a view of the falls. Recent work by the local power company has reworked some of the channels, making the falls much more attractive.
Try to go during the spring spin-off for maximum effect!

It was our first time in Spokane so we had to visit the falls. Such a cool sight in the middle of the city. There weren't many people around so we were able to get great pictures of kids and dogs and the falls. We got to Spokane a bit too late to go on the sky ride which was disappointing.

We were scootering through the park and saw the falls from the bridge above. We did hike down later but never took the gondola ride across. I don't think we would have seen more from it. The weather was great and should be good if you are going to see it.

Nice area for walking and for young children. There is a nice playground in the area. Beautiful area where river forks has double falls then comes back together. Only paid parking in the area.

When we visited, there was tons of water going over the falls. You would barely realize there was a dam. Quite massive and spectacular!

On a hot day, watching the water tumble down the falls was just lovely. Several different point to view the falls - and I highly recommend stopping.

If you love waterfalls then this is the place for you! The waterfall are beautiful and peaceful. The nice thing is there is plenty of parking and not a long walk. Also you can enjoy Riverfront Park as well and all the other fun things to do here!

The sky gondola is really reasonable and the view of the falls from above was pretty impressive. It is just a short ride, but we enjoyed it.

So where do you get tickets for the gondola ride?

At the start of the gondola ride, inside the building tickets are sold, snacks and beverages are sold as well.

Where we can go to take the gondola, their schedule as well as price for the ride?

Do both! The gondola and walk across the bridge. It was being worked on in early summer but it functioning now. The gondola ride is pretty inexpensive around $7.75 I believe with additional discounts for AAA, military, seniors, college, etc. tickets are easy to get ride by the river. The website site is on the City Of Spokane webpage and it’s called The Spokane Skyride. Have fun!!

What is the best place to drive and park to see it? My partner has mobility issue.

My best advice is to park at the Flour Mill parking lot. It is a pay lot but if you eat at Clinkerdaggers they will validate. There is a paved walking trail from the parking lot to the back of some condos where you can see the falls. You can also eat at Clinkerdaggers and ask for a window seat when you make your reservations.

When you say "spring" what does that mean? We were thinking of visiting end of April, what are the chances of it being "spring"?
Thanks!

Spring can be absolutely beautiful, but can be rainy and beautiful at the same time. Don't write off the rain. The area and things to do can be wonderful no matter the weather.

We will be traveling in an RV to Spokane. We would like to spend an afternoon at the Riverfront Park downtown. Do you know where we could park an RV? Or is there a place to park it and then take public transportation into the center of the city?
Thank you

I agree with Phil. That is the closest parking and puts you easily within walking distance. Also if you want to camp close to Spokane Riverside State Park has RV sites and is only a few miles down river. You will have to search for the website since you can't post links, but their phone is (509) 465-5064. Hope you enjoy your stay.
