Good work place for Students!

The company is fair and the staff are a great bunch. Their aren't a lot of hours going as shifts aren't very long, but they are fairly low intensity and well organised.

Ineffective planning and communication means you never know what your day will look like. Management is poor at all levels. No progression or investment in staff.Lack of work-life balance. The expectation is that all staff are available to work 24/7. No flexible working or WFH options.

Stressful

It’s good if ur a student and need some hours of work a week but for anyone needing to pay bills, you will not get full time hours here only 30 hrs max so I didn’t even go for a contract. Wouldn’t recommend if you aren’t a student

Fun bar job but poor management

Tasks at hand are enjoyable. Typical shift on the bar consists of serving large numbers of customers, counting/moving stock & small amounts of cleaning. Nice to chat about gigs/shows with who you're serving.Generally fellow hospitality team members/supervisors are lovely to work with. Hardest part of the job is serving during busy shows. The Music Hall bar especially has not been designed to hand...
