4 Steps of Redeeming the Uniform Invoice Prize

It's common practice for people in Taiwan to save all receipts from daily purchases.

However, do you know why they are tireless to collect all these papers?

Because they can get a free entry to “Taiwan Receipt Lottery”!

On the 25th of every odd month, Ministry of Finance (MOF) will announce the winning number of the uniform invoices in previous two months. People can check the numbers on their receipt and have a chance to win the prize money from NT$ 200 to NT$ 10 million.

The receipt lottery is open to everyone in Taiwan, including foreigners and migrant workers, and can be easily exchanged for prize money at the nearby convenience store with proof of identification. Larger winnings can be redeemed at the banks.
