- Livinit.lovinitBerlin, Germany845 contributionsBeautiful Church with such rich history. The exterior and interior are beautiful. We loved waking around the inside and reading all the history they had displayed and then just waking around and having a good look at the architecture. Beautiful.Written April 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Terry HBrookfield, WI344 contributionsThis is a very nice walk along the Oder that goes past a war monument ad the concert hall along with the back of the peace church. It is well maintained and represents a good effort on the part of this city to provide a quiet and safe place for people of all ages to congregate and take a strole. For tourists, it is a nice way to travel from the Marienkirche to the concert hall with a little history between. Not a must do but a nice do.Written June 21, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- ChileiceSpain2,876 contributionsThis island pathway complex is brilliant! It parallels the city and makes for a great way to bike or walk from one end to the other while offering quiet secluded spots that seem so far away from town without being more than 300 meters away. I loved it!Written August 21, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- mhNew YorkNew York City, NY422 contributionsIf you have some extra time in Frankfurt/Oder, you might consider visiting the university. It is a very good idea to have a university on the border between these countries, given the contentious past and especially the destruction caused in WWII. There are some nice buildings, especially the old post-office building in which two institutes are housed. There is also a

An entire room dedicated to the poetics of Heinrich von Kleist's works is every literature nerd's dream! The second room should be proceeded with caution though, as it is a labyrinth of bars and mirrors with uneven floors. If you get dizzy easily, I suggest you avoid that room. The rest of the exhibition is dedicated to his life from his family history to his death.
I highly recommend visiting, if you are into (German) literature and speak German, as none of the information was in English.Written July 24, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
