- Dominik KiezikWarsaw, Poland5,264 contributionsI came here as a historian and an expert in the history of Poland. This is an important place for us, although forgotten. This is the place where our first princes and kings communicated with the emperors of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation. Arriving here, I understood what our prince might have felt when arriving with his retinues to this place. Now it may not look super spectacular, but in times when there was practically nothing, the buildings and the size of the complex could outshine.Written August 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dominik KiezikWarsaw, Poland5,264 contributionsThe castle has been rebuilt many times since then. You can see, however, part of the ancient Gothic walls is preserved. You can also notice that the place is in very good condition. I highly recommend this place to people who love historyWritten August 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bonnie S12 contributionsNo A/C - which was not clear on their website. Beds were uncomfortable. It was an old, run down hotel which I am surprised our agent put us in. No food because it was a Sunday.Written October 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
