The music was dope ...

Their music mix was on point but the quality of their hot foods were less than desirable. I ordered shrimp and grits and although the shrimp were hot and tasty..can you imagine what they were like on top of cold, stiff grits?!..Exactly! Only thing that mildly appeased my taste buds was a mediocre Hennessy Margarita.

Day Party was lit!!

Great two story establishment with the perfect rooftop for a social. Reserve your section early they go fast. Food was typical bar/restaurant food but those lemon pepper chicken wings were bomb. Qisha was great with service. (I think that was her name) lol. Would definitely be back again!!

Grown Folk Style

A couple of my girlfriends and I visited while we were all in town celebrating a friend birthday! We really enjoyed ourselves here! The band that played that night kept the crowd rocking, the drinks were great and kept flowing just in time, and the food was just as good! Our waiter was great! Good place to visit for the grown folks!!

NEVER Eat At Cafe Circa on Edgewood in Atlanta!!

One of my worst dining experiences Ever! Besides waiting two hours to receive our meals as we were listening to live music, Desert came out first. Of the two couples at the table, one couple got their food. 30 minutes later, the third person got some their food. We were supposed to have appetizers and did not receive it until after we had eaten and shared our meals because everyone had not received their food. We were just ready to leave. To add insult to injury, when we complained about having to pay full price for food that we did not receive nor got a chance to eat, the manager Martin Boyer proceeded to tell us that he had done a favor by discounting a drink and removing one meal. Did I mention that the desserts were taken back to the kitchen once they realized that we had not received entrées? I wonder who got those desserts that had sat at our table for over 30 minutes while we waited for real food to arrive. The live entertainment was amazing thanks to Erica Dawson and The Exclusive Band. They were The Only bright spot of the evening . However, I would avoid Cafe Circa at all costs! NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!!

Great place to go again for real grown ups!

I've returned to Cafe Circa because it is again the enjoyable Friday night atmosphere that I enjoyed prior to the past three years. They feature live music again, and the rooftop has been restored to a cool hang out spot. Check them out on a Friday night in the Old Fourth Ward district!

Night of fun

We came here to celebrate a bday. It was a nice and cool place. We did the VIP table. Try location is cool but limited parking.

Ok, so Erika, and her band, exclusive_bandATL was phenom!! She really engaged the crowd, her voice was amazing, and we loved it. Now the food? The service?👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾. We originally had a party of 14, needless to say we did not sit together until we put our own tables together after originally making reservations.☹️ then it took us 45 minutes to receive our food, our cook?🤔 was on the dance floor..... in his clear cook gloves.. I had the southern fried wings and season fries... my wings came out 45 minutes after ordering and they were partially cooked. My fries came out 15 minutes prior to my wings coming out. Do you think they took anything off my bill? No they did not. I will not be back. Forget about reporting the rooftop dance area... just don't bother, go next door or across the street. Loved the band though 🙌🏾

Its a decent place to let your hair down.

This place is literally a hole in the wall. I drove past a few times because the sign was so small. When I walked in I loved the atmosphere. The first floor had a dark 1950s vibe while the 2nd floor deck area is small and loud, VERY loud. My food was pretty decent, but my friend had to return his because it tasted very poor. I enjoyed their drinks but the best part was the live band that played on the first floor. Definitely a place I will visit again.

Roof top party

I didn't realize that this edgewood area was so packed on the weekends, so many people walking around like the old Buckhead. I went to an old school Jay z anniversary party on a saturday night. It was good times, had a section on the roof that had a ceiling fan so it made being outside comfortable. I got the jerk egg rolls, they were pretty greasy. But it was fun.

Lobster Bisque - Outstanding

The Lobster Bisque was outstanding. I had a bowl as a starter and then another for my dinner. Everyone at the table had a great entree. Food was a bit slow to arrive, so plan for a longer dinner.

Dead Roach

A dead roach was on a stack of plates sent to our table so we could put birthday cake slices on it. Manager was very hesitant coming to our table even though it was only about 20 ppl in d restaurant. He offered 25% off our ticket n a free round of drinks. I declined both. Either free or i tell every table in d restaurant that d place has roaches. I walked paying nothing. Besides d atmosphere was dead too.

A Decent Time

Went here on a Saturday night. They had a live band that was pretty good, even though the songs were all a bit faster than they should have been. The food was just ok, as were the drinks. Overall, it's a good place to at least try if you like live music and a laid back vibe.

The wait time was a little long but totally worth the wait. We checked out the roof top while we waited on a table. The live band started at 12, what a treat however the DJ was great as well. The food was wonderful.

Nice Laid back atmosphere

We ate here with friends who have been before. Loved the environment. Low lighting and music playing loud enough so you can still have a conversation. The food was delicious. I ended up choosing three appetizers because I could not decide. The waiter made great recommendations and gave great service. The arugula salad with goat cheese, and the salmon crab cakes were delicious! We will be back.

NYE celebration 2014

There was free entry (major plus) Parking was $5 around the corner which is good for that area on new years eve. There weren't alot of places to sit but lucky for me I got there early and ordered some drinks ($12-$14 ech) and appetizers. This is a late night restaurant but the food may be a little too "different" and limited for me when I want something to eat after partying. They played mixed old school with new school stuff which was cool. I enjoyed myself.
