PS5 Restock Update for Amazon, Walmart, Costco, Antonline, GameStop and Target

PS5 Restock Update for Amazon, Walmart, Costco, Antonline, GameStop and Target

After a protracted dry spell this month, PS5 restocks are starting to pick back up again. This will come as welcome news to those who are still struggling to get a hold of the elusive console.

Plus, as we approach Black Friday you can expect the hardware to become even more readily available.

Here is the latest PS5 restock update for every major U.S. retailer.

Costco PS5 Restock

Drops at Costco are incredibly rare – to the point where many have given up on the outlet entirely – but it was actually selling PS5 units on Thursday, October 28.

This was the first restock in months and so the supplies were inevitably picked clean within minutes. Nevertheless, it is encouraging to see that console inventories are being replenished now, after what turned out to be a particularly uneventful October.

The Costco bundle was reserved exclusively for premium members, and shipped with an extra DualSense controller, a Sony Pulse headset and a 12-month PlayStation Plus subscription.

Antonline PS5 Restock

Antonline also had a surprise restock yesterday (October 28), when it released its own PS5 deal.

Here Sony's next-gen console was packaged with a spare "Midnight Black" controller, a charging station and copies of both Demon's Souls and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Despite being relatively costly (owing to the sheer number of items featured), this bundle is now completely sold out.

On the bright side, you can still buy an Xbox Series S from Antonline if you are willing to settle for Microsoft's cheaper hardware. More information about this can be found here.

Amazon PS5 Restock

While you can't add a PS5 to your Amazon basket right now, there is every reason to believe that this will change soon, as we are getting closer to Black Friday.

Speaking of which, Newsweek has compiled a list of early tech and gaming related deals that you can take advantage of right now.

Walmart PS5 Restock

Sticking with the Black Friday theme, Walmart will be coordinating a tech-oriented sale on Wednesday, November 3.

Although PS5s aren't guaranteed to feature here, it is definitely worth keeping an eye on the online marketplace just in case. If nothing else, you will be able to find good deals on things like TVs, toys, and miscellaneous electronic items.

Otherwise, you can find some PlayStation 5 units currently listed on Walmart's website, but these are being sold by independent third parties and are therefore overpriced.

GameStop PS5 Restock

As we reported in our previous update, GameStop has organized a few PS5 drops today, but these are only taking place in select locations.

These in-store restocks have been limited to places like Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Nashville, Detroit and North Carolina. The participating outlets opened at 8 a.m. ET, so their inventories will likely be exhausted by now as well.

In terms of online orders, all PS5 bundles are listed as "sold out" on the GameStop website.

Newegg PS5 Restock

Today's Newegg Shuffle doesn't include any PlayStation units, but there is an Xbox Series X "combo" up for grabs.

Should you enter the lottery, you might just be selected to make a purchase. If fortune does smile upon you here, then you will be able to pick up Microsoft's next-gen hardware with an elite controller and a wireless headset, all for the price of $779.97.

As for the PS5, while it isn't featured in today's shuffle draw, it can be found elsewhere on Newegg's website. However, it is worth pointing out that any units you will find here will be traded by third-party scalpers for an inflated rate.

For instance, there is a standalone PS5 listed for an extortionate $994.89, which is nearly double the recommended manufacturer's price.

PS Direct PS5 Restock

Sony itself will be coordinating a major restock event sometime in November. Only those who have registered their interest in advance will be eligible for this sale, so time is certainly of the essence.

If you do not already have one, you will need to set up a PlayStation Network (PSN) ID as well. More details about this can be found in our separate coverage here.

Best Buy PS5 Restock

There are no PlayStation consoles available at Best Buy right now. For timely updates on the restock situation, we would recommend that you follow reliable console trackers like @mattswider and @Wario64 on Twitter.

Target PS5 Restock

Target coordinated a few smaller drops on Wednesday, October 27, but these limited supplies were almost immediately depleted.

Since then, there have been no further restocks at Target and so there is no opportunity to get a PS5 from the merchant.

Sam's Club PS5 Restock

You can't get a PS5 from Sam's Club at the time of writing and even the Xbox Series S (which is often in stock on the website) is displaying as sold out. Newsweek will keep you abreast of any changes here.
