My husband and I had excellent meals with very good Wednesday night music. Joseph waited on us with enthusiasm and expertise. Ever attentive, never intrusive. Both fish entrees were served piping hot and were delicious. The Scottish Salmon's herb crust was light with a nice crunch, and the halibut special's seared edges were perfect. Both entrees were flavorful, moist, and still flaky. We will definitely be back in a few weeks. Our only request with our next visit will be to ask that each course be served with more time.

The food was excellent. We had some of the lower priced items (salmon and the chop) but the quality was still top notch. We enjoyed a bottle of wine and one of the beer options. The only thing that took away from the evening was timing of the meal. Plates from salads were not removed before attempting to serve the main course. Dessert menus were delivered while my wife and I finished our main course versus after. My nephew and his girlfriend had finished their main course but not the table. On the first try for dessert menus regular menus were delivered not dessert menus. Bill was delivered while we were just beginning dessert and then the server attempted to pick it up before I had finished dessert. I guess he thought I should stop enjoying my dessert to set up payment? We did not sit on the table. We were there for less than 90 minutes and at least five of those minutes were used waiting on our server to take our initial drink order. The bill with tip applied was picked up before we left the table. I tipped well but that is not supposed to happen in a nice restaurant. Those misses were minor annoyances that did not stop us from having a good meal but could have been handled better.

This is our favorite restaurant in Seneca. The service is professional and friendly. Food is DELICIOUS!!!! Highly recommend.

Get the lamb lollipops! Butter baskets are good, but lacking the meat that a usual charcuterie would have. Great apps. Great service. Nice ambiance. If you’re visiting Clemson, this is a nice place to go.

This is our go to restaurant in Seneca. The service is professional and personal. The food is consistently delicious and creative. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent experience all around. Service was attentive but not overbearing. We were able to enjoy our drinks before diving into the meal. Both my wife and I were very pleased with our entrees. Definitely need reservations and there is a reason. The best in Seneca.

We have dined here quite a few times and it is the best atmosphere, food, service in the area. Really! Well managed, great chef and staff and excellent menu. On the small town of Seneca there are a few outstanding restaurants and imo this is the best.

All dishes have the chefs interpretation, making common and classic dishes unique. A wonderful restaurant with great service and wait staff in an unpretentious and warm atmosphere. Will become my go to restaurant for special occasions.

I had read the reviews and had really high expectations. We were celebrating my nephew's graduation from Clemson.
The Restuarant is intimate and nicely laid out.... we had a great table.
But....
-Our reservation was for seven, we had a table for eight but with only six place settings, details matter.
-My Martini was watered down. PERIOD. It tasted like they poured the melted ice from a shaker that had just been used to make a previous martini. I did not want to make a scene, so I endured "slightly" vodka flavored ice water.
-I asked if the waitress if I could order two appetizers for my entre and if they could be plated together on a single plate.... was told, "no problem". They were delivered as the same old regular two appetizers on two separate plates as the other diners' dinners arrived. To make matter worse, they were also plopped down in front of another patron in our party. It took a minute to sort out the confusion. The waitress could not explain how, and I quote, "the kitchen screwed up". (So, why did she serve it then??) She made no offer to resolve the issue either. Seemed bothered that I even complained.
-The "risotto" ordered by my wife was simply al dente rice and NOT even close to a decent creamy risotto.
-On top of this we were subjected to live singer, good voice but way, WAY too loud! No chance to chat amongst ourselves unless we yelled. To make matters worse, he actually interrupted us at our table two times to "hawk" his singing career and pass out his business card. Seriously unbelievable! You really allow this?
(The good news, at least he did check in on us more than our wait staff....)
Maybe just a bad night, but you only get once to make a first impression. I really regret not asking for the manager, but given it was not my party I just went along with the night, I am sorry I let it all slide now.

Four friends, all world travelers and critical folks, visited this location together for dinner. ALL of us were pleased with the service and the meal. That is an accomplishment for even a Michelin 3 star restaurant when it comes to pleasing us. :-)

I was expecting good things from this restaurant since I had a taste of their food at the chef’s tasting event last year. Food is very good as is the service and the atmosphere. Definitely recommend the chop.

We had such a wonderful dinner and time together! Our server, Ms. Vanessa, was the perfect blend of fine dining service and down to earth. She was very well versed in the ins and outs of the menu. This is a beautiful restaurant and we knew it was definitely classy. However, we’d been hiking and wouldn’t have time to make our reservation if we returned to our cabin and showered/dressed for the venue. After much thought, we decided to go ahead and we were. Not once were we treated out of place although we certainly looked to be. Thank you all for welcoming us as we were. We will definitely return again we hope!

Vangeli's is a fine dining experience. It has 2 sides for seating: one in their original location with a rustic exposed brick wall and another side that's more modern. We enjoyed the food and the menu selection. We were impressed that they had Diver Scallops on the menu. Diving vs. dragging for scallops, is very important to protect our ecosystems. The food was very fresh with beautiful presentations. The staff worked well as a team and were very attentive. Our Prosecco was kept in an ice bucket which we appreciated. It happened to be a little loud as our table was near the live music. Our server was very thoughtful in offering us a different table if we wanted to move. The bathroom was very clean. Free street parking is available.
