Multiple sports fields, a nice lake, a playground area for kids and more makes this Butler County park a real gem. A paved path around the lake makes for a enjoyable walk or jog. Fishing in the lake is permitted and Paddle boats are available in the summer. Easily accessed from Cox road. A park permit is required but is free for Butler County residents.

They have a dog park, which is a complete mess, especially on rainy days and despite promises to fix it and collecting tax money to get it fixed, the former Director just lied about things and only focused on building out the money making sports complex. Pretty disgusting, but the overall park is nice for a walk.
Oh - and there is a new Director now, let's see if she keeps up the lies of the previous guy or earns back the trust of the local tax payers.

Yet another fine area where we can enjoy with friends or families. Beautiful and wide lake with picnic spots, children fun, walking, jogging and boats rowing facilities awaits you. Besides all these we did enjoy our food, scenic beauty during a fine weather. Strongly recommended.

Please beware of high incidence of deer ticks at this park! I have now been on walks twice this spring where my dogs and I have found ticks on us, even with staying off the grass and walking on the paved lake trail only.

Beautiful grounds throughout plus a gorgeous lake to walk around. Plus, open on the 3'd Saturday each month at 1 pm, is the VOA museum - a place offers a fascinating look into early radio history.

Voice of America Park or VOA Park is a good sized park with many things to do. There is a large circular path that many people will walk, ride their bikes or roller-blade on that goes around a huge lake. There are also peddle-boats and rowboats that can be rented out. My children enjoy the playgrounds which one is designated for smaller children and the other for older children. Good slides and other things for them to climb on. During the summer there are concerts on Wednesday nights so parking that night is a bit harder to find.

After School I take my granddaughters to VOA park to play for 30 minutes and this day it appeared we were the only one there ..4:15 pm to our surprise their were several boys and one older boy all in the higher dome of the slide area , SMOKING. I saw the cigarettes in hand. My girls were racing to get to the top when I stopped them and asked the boys if they were smoking up there, they got belligerent and nasty saying none of your da@&&@ business it’s a free park. I said, I don’t want my girls using the the slides if they were up there smoking.. again , was told it’s none of my business what they are doing. . We Immediately left the park with my girls as this was an awful encounter. I would like to know who I can call if this situation arises again. So sad they ruined a 3 and 7 year olds fun.

I love going for voice of america park for morning and evening walks, it's very nice to walk around the lake with the morning breeze, and now after they added the playground for kids that makes a better place

Great park to walk your pets, and they got a dog park here too as well. Do watch out for ticks though as there seem to be quite a bit around the park.
