Heather M This series was incredible, on so many levels. It spoke to me in many ways as I have known and know people who have been abused. Tom created a character that was believable and genuine. Rotten Tomatoes SUCK. Period end!! They wouldn't know a good show from a bad one and they seriously need to just go away. Their egos are out of control thinking that what they have to say about a show is important to anyone, well it isn't! And when they give a show a bad review I watch it because I know it's going to be really good!! Tom puts his whole being into everything he does. I enjoy his work. What is captivating about this series is the psychological depth of its characters and that, perhaps, it is one of the few sincere and humane depictions of a highly misunderstood disorder. Not only because I'm sensible to psycho-dramas but especially because the show really takes the time to guide you inside the main character's mind. The mentioned "running in circles" that the show does is indispensable to the topic and necessary to touch this delicate theme in a way that feels real even though those "images" would be only visible to one's inner eye. The repetition and revision pattern is exactly how the psychological investigation works and it would have been simplistic to show less of it. Absolutely fantastic.
