HK actress Jacqueline Wong to tie the knot with Cantopop band drummer

PETALING JAYA: Hong Kong actress Jacqueline Wong will apparently be marrying her boyfriend Lai Man Wang, the drummer for Cantopop band RubberBand, China Press reported.

Asked by reporters about the marriage, she subtly confirmed the news by saying, “We thank everyone for their good wishes.”

As news of the nuptials was rather sudden, it led to speculation that the 34-year-old, now a singer-songwriter, is pregnant.

However, Wong did not confirm the pregnancy rumours.

Some fans commented that Wong wanted to get married before her ex-boyfriend, actor Kenneth Ma whom she cheated on with singer Andy Hui in 2019, gets married.

Ma is set to wed actress Roxanne Tong later this year.
