Jason Katims is the creator, showrunner, and executive producer of the Amazon Original series As We See It, based on the award-winning Israeli series On the Spectrum.
Katims is currently developing projects under an overall deal at Apple TV+, and most recently served as executive producer of the Netflix series Away, starring Hilary Swank.
Prior to that, Katims was executive producer and showrunner of the critically acclaimed drama Friday Night Lights, for which he received numerous accolades, including the Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series, the Peabody Award, and the Humanitas Prize.
He also developed and served as executive producer and showrunner on the critically beloved drama Parenthood, which ended its six-season run in 2015.
