The Museum of Jade Art is a private museum, for which a not inconsiderable entrance fee is payable. Chinese people have a fascination with jade which few Westerners share. My advice is go to the jade market; it costs nothing to enter and there are many beautiful pieces.

夏に行くには良い場所です。その隣には有料駐車場があり、地下室はホールにあり、空気が冷たくなり、作品は非常に洗練されています。内容は主にヨーロッパとアメリカの伝統的な建物とおとぎ話、そして女の子が好きになる気持ちです。

nice stroll through the stalls, seemed a little touristy. not sure this is where to get the best prices, unless you are an expert. Still, a lovely way to spend an afternoon.

This is a private museum with only 13 pieces on show, not value for money with the entrance fee at a hefty $250. The carved pieces are small desk-top display variety and mostly of the same theme - leaves, orchids and insects, no comparison at all to the hugh and elaborately carved ones we saw at the National Palace Museum and similar exhibits in other museums in China. There are some pendant pieces on sale at the end of the exhibition, but nothing that really catches the eye. You can be out of the place within half an hour.
If you are still interested to take a look, it's in the same building as the Miniatures Museum of Taiwan. Take any bus to the Nanjing-Jianguo Roads intersection stop. If coming from Taipei Main Station, take 307 in front of the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Dept Store (exit Z, then Z4 of the station) to the above intersection. This bus runs frequently and it is a short ride to the intersection. After alighting from the bus, you can see an elevated highway at the intersection in front of you. Walk ahead and turn right at the junction (there's a Mr Brown Coffee store at the corner). Walk about 150m until you see the sign Lane 124, Jianguo N Rd. The brown building immediately after this lane is where MOJA is. The entrance is a wooden door with 36 lotus seed pods on it.
The museum brochure also gives the following directions :
a) get off at Nanjing East Road Station on MRT Muzha Line. Walk along Nanjing E Rd toward the Jianguo N Rd viaduct, then proceed across Jianguo N Rd, turn left at Mr Brown Coffee and walk south about 1 minute. You will see the museum on the right.
b) get off at Zhongshan Station on the MRT Tamsui Line. From Exit 1, turn left (toward Chengde Rd) and walk about 1 minute to the bus stop in front of Shun Chen Bakery. From there, take buses no. 266, 282, 292, 306 or Brown 9 to the Nanjing E Rd - Jianguo N Rd intersection. Get off there and walk about 1 minute in the direction of Mr Brown Coffee.

I was impressed by the many wonderful jade sculptures here. I was amazed at the detail of each piece as well as the stories behind them. This museum is small, but it is definitely worth a visit!

vous pouvez y aller facilement car il est juste à coté du métro et station de bus. chaque pièce est faite d'une seule pierre d'une manière très délicate et super joli. Chaque pièce représente une étape de notre vie ou bien exprime la vie, l'amour... d'une manière très originale et métaphorique.
Les guides parlent super bien anglais et français et ils sont super sympa.
Dommage c'est interdit de prendre des photos. j'ai pu juste photographier les toilettes et l'entrée.

I went to the MOJA in February.
It is located in the same building on Jianguo N Road, with MMOT (Miniatures Museum of Taiwan) on the ground floor. MMOT is in the basement of the same building, on the left side.
After I read some reviews on TripAdvisor, I was not quite cleared and I decided to have my own opinion.
Here it is:
Moja is a private museum that exhibits about 10 carvings of jade. The sculptures are very beautiful, I should invent a new word to describe them. Each sculpture has its own story based on love, beauty and awakening to life. Dreamlike.
The only regret I have is that it was not allowed to take pictures.
Ticket cost 250 NTD., a little expensive, but worth every penny.
Museum hours is 10 am to 6 pm. It is closed on Tuesdays.
I have no photo, unfortunately, but memories are still vivid in my mind.
If you are art lovers, you must go.

翡翠文化博物館は翡翠による彫刻作品を展示する博物館で、ミニチュア・アートの袖珍博物館と同じビル（台証金融大楼）の一階に入居しています。ビルの正面に立つと入り口が二つありますが、右側がこの博物館の入り口です。
入館するとまず翡翠彫刻に関する歴史や技法を解説する展示室があり、そこを過ぎるとコレクションの展示室があります。展示作品はそれほど多くなくて、博物館というよりはギャラリーのイメージです。残念ながら館内は撮影禁止なので写真で紹介できませんが、展示内容を知りたい方は博物館の公式サイトを閲覧してください。
この博物館に行くかどうかはその人の趣味次第ですが、袖珍博物館に行くのなら、せっかく足を運んだのですからこちらも参観してよいと思います。
