I've done at least 15k pulls and no eggplant. Am I just mega unlucky or can you only get it a certain way like with the ptw pals and event pals?

If you click on it and there is no obtain button, then you cant get it right now.
Only way it has been available so far is through the first week buying event, where you bought the $0.99 weapon. It the. Goes to helm, face mast and after buying all that, you could buy the eggplant. Other than that it has not been available yet.

It's an event pal. It was the first available one. You'll have to wait for it's rotation. Probable after Pepe.
