The text says 8 players will play this tournament, 4 of them being former top 10 players. So besides Ivanovic (1) and Petkovic (9), two more top 10 players will play. I’m wild guessing Clijsters and Hantuchova.

Yeah I think Clijsters is always itching to play so she won't miss these opportunities. Hantuchova is the tournament ambassador so I believe she'll definitely step in if they're unable to find enough top 10 players.

At this point, might as well have an all tennis mom tournament, basically gonna be a legends tournament but some are still playing competitive in a high level

Are Cirstea and Ivanovic still close I wonder? I remember back then Cirstea was still wearing Addidas and there was a time where they wear the same kit. I remember I think in 2010 where they both wore pink Addidas kit.

Can't believe this was so long time ago and Ivanovic is already a mother of 3 and Sorana is still playing and well in the top 50 rankings.
