He was predeceased by : his parents, William D. Thompson and Margaret Cowles Thompson; his brother Walter "Tommy"; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Thompson and Gene DeBusk.

He is survived by : his siblings, David, Jeannine, Steven and Wendy DeBusk.

A memorial service was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Community Church (305 State St, Kenyon, MN 55985).
