Blackberry curve 8250, won`t unlock? - The security code has been tried several times before I bought the phone off a friend. Its unlocked to o2 but I want it unlocked to vodafone.. Is there a code I need to reset the thing so I can start all over again?

Hi, I have been noticing a lot of issues been raised for no support for blackberry phones to use as a modem on mac. Below are the steps to use your blackberry 3g/2g phones as a modem and using it with your Apple Mac computers to connect to internet. Pl. make sure you close the Black berry desktop software. It should not be open. The below process works perfect with only Airtel Network. (India). Pl. make sure Gprs or 3g is active on your number/network. 1. Connect your blackberry phone via USB to your mac. Choose USB Drive 2. Open System Preferences. 3. Click on the symbol on the bottom left. 4. Choose Blackberry-BBpin(your pin) from the dropdown menu on interface. 5. Telephone Number *99# 6. Account Name - is your mobile number . dont add 91 or 0 in from of your number. Just your mobile number (10 digit). 7. Password : again your mobile number only. 8. Click on Advanced. 9. Choose vendor as " research in motion " 10. Model : "Blackberry IP Modem (GSM)" since mine is Airtel GSM 11. Apn: initially it will be internet.com by default. Pl. change it to " airtelgprs.com " 12. CID is " 1 ". 13. Click Ok. Then Click Apply. Then Click on the connect button. You will successfully connect. Good luck !!

To truly go back to default settings, you need your PC. See the directions below.

If you just want to wipe your device of all personal data, preferences, contacts, calendar, etc., you may do so ON the device itself in the Options > Security > General Settings > Menu key > Wipe handheld function.

Yes it will work. They both have identical housing and dimensions. Only difference is the 9300 has chrome trim.

I wish.people who don`t actually know the answer... Would abstain from commenting on something they don`t know. It just confuses people.

Go to the top of the screen and drag it down you should be able to click on the button that resembles gps button, If unable to there you can go into the menu and connect through connectivity.

You should be able to go to the settings and see what can be downloaded. if not, ask your service provider.
