My experience here at Edgewater HIgh school has been marvelous. Faculty and Staff are amazing when it comes to students safety and education. When it came to me wanting to have 1 on 1's with teachers after class time they gave you that shoulder to lean on when needing it. Even when going to our College and Career Specialist for help applying for colleges, to writing essays, to helping with financial aid i can always depend on them and be thankful for the extra help i've been receiving. They're more than just teachers but we are all family. I've transferred from another school to Edgewater wanting a better education and i got just that. I'm highly grateful for this school, i wouldn't be where i am without them.
I had a great experience during my time at Edgewater! Administration, such as guidance counselors and the principal, were very supportive. The student body is very diverse and there are a lot of opportunities for student involvement.
Overall in my four years with edgewater, it was fun and quite standard for what one would expect from high school life. Sometimes it got a little stressful but that is a given. I enjoyed most of my high school career even though i currently have “senioritis” and just want this last stretch to he done with already. The best parts of high school at edgewater was probably how it is a smaller campus which allows students to traverse a bit faster and easier. It is mostly a tall school compared to a vastly spread out school which is a plus in my book. My biggest enjoyment was doing ROTC because I was able to make many friends and learn life/leadership skills. The worst aspects were mostly due to work piling up at random and having to manage time in and out of school. Also some students really need to learn how to clean up after themselves in the bathrooms. Overall id say edgewater was a solid 7.5/10 experience.
