Largely abandoning their emo tendencies and settling for a more varied pop-scape which includes Tegan and Sara-esque forays into acoustic indie pop with twee, girly harmonies and carnivalesque, fast and catchy pop numbers. It's a side that we haven't seen this polished and this pointed from the sisters and it's actually a welcome statement. Maybe their ambitions and their ages are taking them somewhere more adventurous music-wise. I'm excited for them. I hope they follow this up with a full length LP with material in the same vein.
