Hoover High School Reviews

Hoover is a high school that words can’t describe. It’s fun, gives opportunities and overall makes any and everyone feel welcomed. I had transferred my last year thinking hoover might not have as much for me anymore-but I highly regretted it. Came back as soon as I could. The facility is small enough to where everyone knows everyone, nobody’s better than the other, if you have a club idea you’re more than welcome to share it and 9 times out of 10 if it’s school appropriate it’ll get approved. Overall I feel as if hoover is a safe space. The preparation for college is extraordinary and so are the counselors, they are truly amazing people. I’d encourage any incoming freshman to try to go to Hoover.
My time at Hoover was a one-of-a-kind experience, in a good way. The teachers and staff were very involved with the students. Teachers go out of their way to give their undivided attention to every single one of their students. Because of this, students actually enjoy their classes.
My time during my learning experience has been great from the students to the teachers and staff. The counselors are really helpful towards students. Teachers are really resourceful and gives many updates to students. The worst has been the little things such as sports and club availability. I would like to see more varieties in clubs and sports.
