The location was very convenient. The amenities were very good and food was very good as well. The staff was helpful and courteous on multiple occasions, especially on cafe's and shops nearby. What you expect from a Hilton.
I love the fact that the Hilton Vancouver Washington is only a few minutes away from Portland, but far enough to enjoy the small town feel of Vancouver. We walked the town a few times and love that feel. There are enough restaurants and breweries around to enjoy. I love the fact that across the street, there is a nice, quiet park that hosts a farmers market on the weekends as well. The staff at the hotel were great the whole time. Every time we got off the elevator, they would greet us and wish us a good day. We asked for extra shampoo and conditioner as we were there a few days and they gave them to us with no hesitation or asking what room we were in. The morning coffee shop offers Starbucks products and breakfast options including hot breakfast sandwiches. One of the days, we saved our credits and used them for dinner instead. We had a good time and our server was excellent. Overall, we had such a great time at the Hilton Vancouver Washington. Thank you, Hilton.…
We have a wonderful weekend experience during our daughters graduation. The entire facility is extremely clean and sanitary, and even during this pandemic the staff is very professional, attentive, and seem to actually enjoy what they are doing! Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We found the area to be very charming with excellent nearby food options. The hotel is just a short walk from the river front where there are spectacular views! This is the place to stay when visiting a Vancouver!
The staff was friendly. The hotel lacked a sundries shop which it really should have for convenience of the guest. The coffee shop closed at 1PM also rather inconvenient for guests particularly when there is a large group meeting truly lost revenue for the hotel. The room itself was clean, the bathroom need a good cleaning in both the shower and tub. I had read about the issue of mold and mildew and that is certainly what I found as well. Instead of contacting housekeeping I just attended to it myself because I was sure that if others complained about it it would not get resolved so just took care of it. The pillows were terrible, the mattress was actually decent. The gym was small and limited equipment and no air conditioning. No towels when I showed up and the hotel does not provide ear pods to guests, I was told that maybe the convenience store around the corner might have them. Most hotels that I have stayed at over the years always have had complimentary ear pods for guests, small thing to provide but nice to offer if the guest should need them. Not that it was needed for my stay but they are still not offering room service which I know others have commented on, could be a staffing issue. The hotel's restaurant closes early (9:30) or did when we were there so if a guest gets in later there is not really any option unless call a door dash or some other service. Location is good, central and not far from the water. There are eateries on the water and a new AC hotel and a Hotel Indigo going up I am sure there will be others coming out of the ground too. Tips: There is a Starbucks across the park from the hotel and a little taco joint up the street off of Washington ... good street tacos even if a little pricey.…
Not worth the money. This was a good price initially, and convenient to my needs, but when I checked in, they charged me fees right and left. Then there was no free breakfast, and I couldn’t even get free Wi-Fi without signing up for their rewards program, which I didn’t want to do. Next time, if I can, I’ll stay at the Holiday Inn, because that would’ve been a much better deal and just as clean and comfortable. Plus, the first floor was under construction, so come prepared for a lot of walking back-and-forth to different elevators.
We selected this hotel for an extra night because it was part of our American Queen cruise and were very pleased with the facility. The staff was excellent - friendly, courteous, helpful. The room was very nice - large, comfortable bed and pillows. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, and it was very good. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good hotel in downtown Vancouver.
Stayed here for a quick 1 night staycation. Used Hilton Honors points for the stay. Booked a King Bed Patio room & that's what we got ... no upgrades for the Diamond; oh well. The room itself was fine & I really enjoyed the patio overlooking Esther Short Park. Good soundproofing on the street side; not so much on the interior hall noice. Comfy bed as expected. The pool & fitness center were open but you had to make a reservation. Reservations were done in 1 hour blocks with a max of 2 rooms (not peopole) at a time. When my wife & I were there we were alone to start & then joined by 5 people (3 adults & 2 kids). The pool itself was COLD; the hot tub not so much. My wife had a reservation for the next morning too but decided not to as the water was just too cold. Didn't eat at the hotel restaurant (Grays) as we walked down to the waterfront (see separate review for WildFin). We did have drinks in the bar when we returned to the hotel & they were good (but pricey) with excellent service. Biggest disappointment is breakfast ... we opted to skip it as the line was crazy to order & then get your meal with little seating available. Wish Grays was open for breakfast. They charge $25 for parking though it was comp'd for us as we had to wait for our room. Starting to show it's age.…
Room was nicely sized. Bathroom not crowded. Nice views out many of the windows. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Elevators fast. Restaurant was convenient and I had two good meals there because the restaurant across the street was closed one day of my stay. I was able to safely walk to and through a park across the street with a farmers market Sunday morning/ early afternoon. Quiet rooms and stay. Conference rooms were also nice.
The Hilton Vancouver Washington is a great place to stay and explore downtown Vancouver. The accommodations are comfortable, the service is excellent and the food quite tasty. The location affords an easy walk to the riverfront, fantastic local restaurants and bars, and other local activities. The hotel offers everything a traveling business person, family or individual would want.
The Vancouver Hilton has hosted an annual conference I have attended for many years, and I am always impressed by the staff’s warmth and service-mentality. This year they moved the check-in to another part of the first floor because their Lobby was being renovated. Despite the disruption, the staff went over and above to accommodate us with grace and support that greatly minimized whatever inconvenience we might have experienced! Kudos to you!
