Abilene High School is a great place to go to enroll your children at for good education and athletics. Abilene has a well structured and supportive learning program and is currently excelling in many sports.
Hello, I went to Abilene since my seventh grade year. Abilene is the. place where I was able to get the help that I needed for dyslexia. That is what made this school so dear to me, and made it heartbreaking when I was forced to leave it. Being stated, as always. There are some flaws in this school, the food being one of them. But another is how much gossip is around, teachers can't control that. But this is a small town gossip is normal but I know that many people will gossip behind your back for no reason. Athletics is really important here as always, but for those who don't. I did Debate, Choir, and Forensics. Its not so much important as it should be. I wish that culture would change.
My experience with Abilene High School was filled with a lot of ups and downs, but it was a decent school. What I liked about the school was some of the teachers were amazing at helping students understand the subject matter and would help after school. They also had different clubs for activities, mine being the gaming club. One thing that I did not enjoy/want to be changed was the size of the lunchroom as it was so cramped in there that kids were stepping over backpacks and sometimes other students. Another thing I did not like was the weird assignments that did not help my learning of the class or ate up a lot of time, but that can be contributed to other schools as well. Overall, the school was fine. Some of the students are a bit rowdy, but nothing too unmanageable. I have great memories from that place and made some great friends.
