I just caught up on BR and there is a drastic difference in the art style between seasons 1 and 2. The faces are so different than season 1, and they aren't good either. The 3 leads all look the same besides their hair colors at one point, but then just like Cassia, the next episode their face would look different in every panel they were in. I'm quite disappointed and shocked that the creator has made this decision. Since My Dear Cold Blooded King, her art has been quite perfect, and the style fit her perfectly. But now, it's so much worse :(
Anyone else notice it too? What do you think?
I also think the writing has been off in season 2 as well.
Pictures, the one where she's solo is season 1, and the second picture with the ML is season 2.

There’s a few other posts about this if you search. I guess there’s even one about them using AI for stuff?
I did a search after I posted and realized there were others. So it's not just me. I did notice the details and backgrounds were way more detailed when season 2 started but I didn't think was AI. But now, I wonder if it's true. But I'm mostly saddened about the faces. Especially the males, every panel they seemed different than they were before, and sometimes they were even ugly. I may drop this if she continues with this art style, that's how frustrated I am.
It's definitely using AI, at least in some panels for backgrounds. What's weird is that many backgrounds look like completely natural 3D (I'm convinced they really are just 3D), then others are very AI. Not sure what to think of that, like why use AI at all then, but anyway there's no way this was done by a human:
Inconsistent, there's no structure to the towers, everything's vague and undefined, and there's a random streak in the sky where it looks like a tower was supposed to be. AI is terrible with structured patterns like that
Ugh, I hate that. She was doing fine before, there's no reason to add AI in and steal from other creator's work. And with the drastic art changes, I know she's seen the criticism. She even restricted comments after receiving death threats, apparently, but still won't fix the mistakes. I'm so disappointed.
While I read CBK except for last season, this story just didnt catch my attention. So it’s just stuff I’ve seen in other posts mentioned.
I finished CBK and loved it and thoroughly enjoyed season 1 of BR. But looks like I will drop it now. Sigh. I've never seen an artist change do drastically for the worse.
