- The adventures of an English RoseLeamington Spa, UK39 contributionsWe visited May 23 and recieved the free return, we have visited three times rhis year, so we'll worth the money. So much to take in each time we have seen something new.
The planetarium, is a bit underwhel.ing, but informative, it needs to be more interactive.
A stamp or trail for you her children would be ideal.
The cafe is a must (the rocket launches)..
I do like the gift shop, normally I can't stand then same old tate, but this one is all space focused, this is brilliant and a variety of prices.Written May 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gena.25Leicestershire, UK237 contributionsIt cost £11.50 per adult with a free year reentry. When beginning the exhibition, it has a room full of royal history connections explaining the buildup of the war of the roses. there is a big area telling the events leading to the battle of Bosworth. Then there is another exhibit upstairs (available lifts) of theatre and film based on Richard III, an exhibit explaining the findings of Richard III, and what they discovered when they uncovered him. One thing they didnt need was an exhibit of a digger, and a helmet and viz vest.
Back on the ground floor there is a cafe with a craft area for kids where they can make their own crowns, toliets, and seating outdoors. The staff bring the coffee to you which is a nice change.
There is another part located by the gift shop where Richard III grave was located. Its amazing to see how shallow it was.
Overall, a good exhibition worth visiting maybe more than once.Written May 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Good for all ages , we was there for 5 hours and was a shame to leave.
Got a great Quake multiplayer setup in a separate room to play , also a good seating area outside for you to have your lunch or snacks, plenty of free parking.
Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Would definitely recommend to family and friendsWritten May 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - jilll692London212 contributionsExciting space in the city’s cultural quarter
Show: Couldn’t ask for more. Giovanni Let Me Entertain You delivered on every level. Such a slick production. Flawless!
Seats: brilliant view from the centre stalls. To the side of the stalls, there were two rows of raised seating, these seemed to have a very restricted view.
Not much leg room so if you’re in the middle of a row, get to seat early.
Bar: Lots of seating. You really feel as if you’re part of the theatre.
Fun fact: If you’re a Danny Mac fan, check out the amazing posters all around the foyer space.Written April 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gena.25Leicestershire, UK237 contributionsLocated next to Leicester catherdral, this building is a small museum showing a small amount of old archifacts during the Tudor times. Also it has a large hall which can be hired for events and weddings at a great value. There is a jail room where you see in rooms where people were locked up many years ago.
There is a gift shop and it is free entry but really its only worth the one visit.Written May 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It doesn't have the big National Trust shop attached but is well worth a visit.
Beautiful buildings, and I've never seen such colour in a garden in April. It was a delight, a photographer's dream. Inside , it is so quirky and for once, the National Trust haven't quashed its individuality. I loved it and will recommend it to everyone I come in contact with.Written May 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
