Meet our Conference Keynote:
Voice of Witness
Jessica Fagen (she/her) is the Education Specialist and Program Coordinator at Voice of Witness, where she develops oral history projects that connect students with family and community. As an educator with a passion for critical literacy studies, Jessica believes deeply in the power of storytelling to empower student voice and build critical skills. Jessica taught English and Ethnic Studies in Oakland Unified School District for five years before coming to Voice of Witness, and holds MA in Education from UC Berkeley.
