Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My partner and I visited Escape Hunt, Watford, on Saturday evening as part of our date night. I’ve done quite a few escape rooms - and always loved them, but he was a newbie, so we went for an escape room that just sounded fun and so Blackbeard’s Treasure was the name of the game! We absolutely loved the experience and made it out with 8 mins to spare (phew)! It wasn’t just one room, as many escape rooms seem to be, and it was a great mix of some simple ones, and some more tricky/complex ones. I loved the level of detail in the rooms and decor, and how everything felt authentic to the theme. I can’t wait to explore the other themes! The Games Master was suuuper helpful and in character with her clues (thank you!) and the staff, overall, were lovely and very welcoming! We’ll definitely be coming back for another date night!

Enjoyed my visit, went with my son. The electric karts are really good, great acceleration.
There were 14 karts on the track which I think was a few too many. The first 15 minutes there were so many yellow and red lights I only managed 9 laps of which only 3 were proper fast laps. The staff did a great job to keep things moving but safety first I guess.
On another note, the toilets were terrible as there was no locks on the cubicle doors!

Visited here for a game and pleased to see good facilities - clean toilets and decent counters for food and drink. Be nice to sea some healthy offerings but cups of tea were good and welcome on a cold soggy afternoon

My grandchildren love this park, lots to do for the kids but the garden areas are very very over grown. Bins always seem to be full too

5 of us Went for my daughters 23rd birthday. Did The Chapel. Really had us having to think outside the box. We have done a few before, so you do get used to the format. Just finished with a few minutes to spare. Great family fun would recommend and hope to go again

The local council has recently upgraded this community sports facility and park. The new kids' playground is state of the art. There are enclosed pitches for a range of sports, including tennis and five-a-side football as well as a table tennis area. The centre of the park is used by Abbotts Langley Cricket Club, which has its own pavilion. The park is great for dog walkers and anyone wanting to take some outdoor exercise, with a wooded area as well as the central open space. A wonderful village and community resource.

We had a party indeed. So much to do and so much variation was amazing.

From the go karts, to the electric carousel, the big climbing frame to the soft play area it was well laid out and easy to access for all people of all ages and abilities.

Go again ? we’ve been a couple of times.

Only gripe was there was not a huge amount of seating for parents or when kids were eating.

We came to Laser Plnate yesterday afternoon for my sons 10th Birthday party. What can I say and where sdo I begin. Firstly, HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE thanks too:

Chloe, Simran, Sachd, Mary, Adelise, Myles and Alfie

You were so helpful, so professional and kind and on the case with your work.

I was on my own as my husband was taking our 18 strong party into the laser tag game and so ALL of the team helped me set up the table and prepare everything, They could not do enough for us!

I would 100% recommend this venue and team for ANY party. My son had the best time and their kindness and help helped me to execute what was the most successful party my son has had to date!

Me and my friend took our children to Cloud 9 on Saturday and we had a great time.

The bar/restaurant area is surprisingly lovely with a great ambience, and the staff are professional and friendly. A great venue to hang out with friends or to hire for a party!

A special mention to the Duty Manager, Harry, who was great - helping the children learn how to play Pool and just generally making sure we were all looked after. A mature head on a young shoulders and from what we experienced, he’s a credit to Cloud 9.

We took two of the Grandchildren to Rock Up, one is 3 and the other 6. They both had a really good time, which is the positive, along with the staff who are very patient with all of the children.

The downsides, the toilets were awful, the cafe is extremely poor and some of the tables for sitting at were dirty with food left on them. It was all pretty unpleasant.

Its also not a great idea to have some activities or mini rides that are extra to pay for as the children always want to do them and not everyone can afford this.

Let me get this out of the way first, we played the Emerald course at Watford and it is very good, each hole has been fantastically designed and it works well. It's probably the best crazy golf experience I've ever had.

    But...
There is a hole where you can win prizes such as pizzas and drinks etc. Three of our group won, (2 pizzas and a drink), but there was no way of proving it as no ticket was produced from the machine. After the game the staff were clueless and to have claimed the prizes would have meant a lot of time and messing about. Instead I did it by email afterwards and today I'm told they need to re-visit to claim the prizes. This is simply not good enough, they need to have the equipment working on the course correctly, otherwise it looks like a scam, (how many others lost prizes over the day)?

The bar staff seem to go as slow as is humanly possible. This is so bad for business as it's quite expensive to buy alcohol anyway and next time I'd avoid it completely due to the snails pace. This seems to be the norm at every place similar to Puttshack, why?

Finally the putting experience is over far too quickly. ÂŁ12 per person for 25 minutes, (we really took our time as well), is way too quick. Make it 18 holes for ÂŁ15 and you'd have a lot more repeat visitors. They have the fantastic courses and the place should be packed out, but they seem to overlook what gets people coming back.

It’s fun when your arrive and play. Staff are very nice and a credit to TopGolf, The issue is just simply two things 1/The wait time - over three hours on a Saturday night does seem excessive. I think anything within an hour people would tolerate or perhaps a booking system in place would make it far easier for people to play. 2/The food - not good at all. I’d like to return but I think improvements need to be made first.
