Jenna Guillaume The Age (Australia) The most overwhelming emotion I feel is relief. The last season, number seven, was pretty excruciating. Jun 16, 2021 Full Review Robert Lloyd Los Angeles Times As to the new season, and without going into details, the game board will again be turned over, the cards thrown in the air to put relationships out of joint, interfere with plans, raise questions. May 6, 2021 Full Review Maggie Fremont New York Magazine/Vulture I gotta tell you, it is about time this show returned. This rom-com is the comforting, silly escape we all need these days, isn't it? Rated: 3/5 Apr 16, 2021 Full Review Scarlett Harris Atta Girl (Medium) The twelve-episode season f---ed around for the majority of the time, with most of the forward momentum happening in the premiere and finale episodes and even then it was mostly undoing all of the plot thus far. Aug 7, 2023 Full Review Michael Cuby them. I’m sad to see it go. Sep 28, 2022 Full Review Kevin Fallon The Daily Beast It's sad that the Younger carousel will stop spinning this season, but we're grateful for the dizzying ride. Mac M Even tho dragging the love-triangle a very bit tooo long, I thought it really was a very nice and cleverly written tv show. Well done! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/11/23 Full Review Manuela C I just loved the concept! It was very interessting to see the developing of the story and the growing of the main characther (she is so great!) Congratulations to all of them!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/29/22 Full Review Audience Member During its previous six seasons, I have considered Younger to be one of the most underrated shows in all of television. Season 7, however, has been patently awful – poorly written, badly directed, clumsily acted – and don't get me started on how Lauren suddenly (magically!) has become Diana's replacement in an executive position ... and I guess we're stuck with the vomitous Quinn as a regular character, while Diana and Zane are gone. (And why is Maggie even a character on the show any longer? Why?) This season's writers have given us vacuous caricatures like "Fupa" who do nothing to advance the story, and "Kai" who ... well, we all know what he's here for, and for how long. Younger will always hold a dear spot in my TV-watching heart as a grown-up soap opera with perfect casting and just enough drama to go with great-looking visuals. If this was the first season of Younger that I watched, I would have tuned out after the first episode and never come back. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I randomly came across a commercial promoting this new show on TV land years ago. The idea of a forty something passing herself off as a twenty something in order to get back into the workforce was so cute and interesting that I tuned in to watch the pilot and have been hooked ever since. Due to the pandemic, this last season was never filmed in 2020 and I kind of forgot about it. When I discovered Younger season 7 was on Paramount+, I was ecstatic and obviously binged the entire season right away. This last season picks up immediately where season 6 left off. Season 7 is full of surprises and tears. Just when you think that Liza is going to have it all, the creators of this show throw us a curve ball and we get a bittersweet ending to this charming and lovable series. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I absolutely love this show! This season was awesome and I'm so sad that it's over! We need a Kelsey spin-off, pleeeeeease! <3 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review andrei d Decent if a little confused Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
