  • The Schenley High School Spartans pictured became the state basketball champions in 1966 when they defeated the Eastern Regional Champion, Chester in the PIAA Class A title game, 74-64. They are, from left to right, front row, Anthony Austin, Len Smith, Robert Johnson, Phil Mazza, and Henry Brandon. Middle Row, Jake Williams, Montel Brundage, Marvin Snowden, Ken Durrett, Charles Burley, Ed Gibson, and Coach Willard Fisher. Players in the rear row are not identified.
