We have an exciting opportunity for qualified Lifeguards to work various shifts at our School Pool between our opening hours of Bedales School Swim Club; Monday, Thursday and Friday 7:30pm to 9:30pm, Saturday 2:00pm to 4:00pm and Sunday from 11:00pm to 4:00pm. Non-Term Time various shifts available including day, evenings and weekends, to be agreed at interview.

There may also be the opportunity to provide support to a Teacher or Activity Coach during the schools extracurricular activities which take place during the school day.

Experience & Background

The ideal candidate will have previous lifeguarding experience and be responsible for the safety of all pool users while on duty, keeping in line with the Institute of Qualified Lifeguards and for the security of the building. A primary responsibility of the role is to provide clean and safe facilities and ensure pool users feel welcome.

Duties

You will be responsible for:

  • Swim Club Members
  • Unlocking and securing the school pool after the Swim Club Sessions

This post is Regulated Activity.

Hours of Work

Monday, Thursday and Friday 7:30pm to 9:30pm

Saturday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and Sunday 11:00am to 4:00pm.

Non-Term Time various shifts available including day, evenings and weekends.

There may also be the opportunity to provide support to a Teacher or Activity Coach during the schools extracurricular activities which take place during the school day.

Salary

Hourly rate: £ 11.44

Pre-Appointment Checks
