We have enjoyed a wonderful staycation at W Hong Kong for 2020 Christmas. Their Fantastic Suite is equipped with a spacious living room with fun and savvy technology. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is suited with a large bathtub for having a relaxing spa. The overall cleanness of the suite is excellent as well. W Hong Kong also provided masks and hand sensitizers for guests. As it is the Christmas season, we have requested a decoration package of the room, which is very nice. Taking this opportunity, we would like to thank Sammy for her arrangement and assistance along our stay, no matter the preparation work in advance or during the stay. And, thanks to all the staff who have helped us. The warm hospitality from W Hong Kong is definitely one of the reasons for us to revisit again in future, especially trying other types of suites!

We booked a seaview room in late July. The hotel is nice and modern in design. Check in was very smoothly done in 10mins, and staff were cheerful. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfy. Individually packed masks, alcohol wipe and hand sanitizer were provided in the room. The spa center and gym were closed that time, only the swimming pool was opened. Did not go swimming as the pool was already full of people taking IG pictures instead of swimming. The breakfast was very good with diverse choices. We also spent sometime to do some shopping in Element. Bought some discount products by Bliss at the spa center with a big discount. Enjoyed this quick recharge very much.

We booked 3 rooms at W Hong Kong during this holiday season. Checkin was a breeze and as Titanium member, all 3 rooms were upgraded to ocean view, with my room receiving complimentary breakfast vouchers for two daily. For the other two rooms, the Hotel offered us discounted breakfast rate for the entire stay.
We rechecked in the Hotel twice during the period, each time my room was further upgraded to a corner suite. We were also surprised with sweet amenity sent to our rooms.
The Hotel staff at the reception, Kitchen restaurant, and concierge were all very courteous, friendly and greeted us warmly every time we passed by. They remembered us by name after a couple of days. Special thanks for Brian and his W Experience team for their detailed attentions to our special room arrangements and date changes. We felt very much welcome and at home at this Hotel.
Breakfast buffet had large selection, and quite good. Sing Yin restaurant was just average. Hotel location was excellent with easy access to the many stores and restaurants in the Elements Mall attached to the Hotel.
Room rates are relatively high compared to some Marriott group hotels around HK, but you pay for what you get.

The W has a typical ultramodern vibe that screams youth and energy. Despite staycationing being so popular these days, there was no line to check in, although the paperwork took a bit of time to process. The corner suite is indeed marvelous with a huge living and dining room while a smart mirror slide door leads into the bedroom with a sunset-facing sea view. The huge bathroom also enjoys the same sea view when you soak in the tub. There was some dirt hiding away beneath cabinets and the TV but generally, the room is clean with masks and alcohol gel provided as part of their enhanced measures. Soundproofing was very good with the tunnel traffic outside barely audible and I had a very good night's sleep.

Given Covid-19, we have not travelled as a family for over a year. We also had a 7 month old with us for whom we wanted to create some family memories. We chose to do a staycation with W Hong Kong as it was closest to a resort my feeling in HK.
Right from the start, W loyalty team was very helpful, especially Sammy Yick and Cathy. They attended with detail to my each request to make the baby comfortable. Prepared crib, sterilizer, food warmer and even baby-proofed the entire room (even thought my baby doesn’t crawl or walk yet).
Mimi from the Woobar was also very helpful and ensured that we always got a place for the busy lunch period.
Overall a great staycation and look forward to the next one.

I had a habit of going away during the first week of March, at least that’s what I did for the past 5 years. This year as the whole world in chaos, I almost give up the idea until the invitation from your team. I was upgraded to harbour view room and I much enjoyed to read and watch YouTube by sitting next to it day and night. All in all thanks for the birthday party given to me specially mentioned Cathy, Jessie, Grace, Yuki, Keith, Kevin, Victor, Coffee, Johnny, Angie, Ranas, Liza, Hung Fai, chef Benny, Gigi and Danny. I almost unable to recall the last time I actually cut a birthday cake.... finally allow me to praise the Housekeeping of a spotless beyond standard guest room and the turn down service too

We had a wonderful breakfast experience. The staff were very polite & helpful. We felt refreshing & welcomed especially during this difficult situation of Corona virus. Traveled from Canada to Hong Kong, full vaccinated traveller need to stay in quarantine hotel. Booked W hotel and check in on 25/Jun, check in process is efficient. Got the one time room key card and moved my own luggages to take lift. Assigned room 3307 Fabulous room type. The room space is spacious and window facing South China Sea. The sunset sea view is amazing.
W hotel is very considerate and provided cloth washing detergent, dish wash detergent, dish wash sponges, 5L of distilled water, facial mask, bath salt, some snacks, coffee capsule, tea bags, Rapid test kits, thermometer and acchocol spray. Some items can be replenished and you can scan the same QR code and preorder.
Set Meals are included and you can scan a QRcode and using Google form to fill up your preorder Chinese/ International and Veggies food. Meals will be delivered in your selected time slot and will be left on the table in front of your room. Food temperature is still warm when I consume it. Taste is delicious.
There are many online activities available to keep you busy like Sake tasting, Yoga, etc. Some with additional charges. If you want other food, beer or wine, you can order it separately with charge. Wi-Fi speed is ok, I work from hotel for 5 days with Teams call and the speed is good.
Twice a day, you can dump the garbage or used towels in the provided garbage bag and left in front of the door. Every morning , you need to perform Rapid agent test and leave the test result on the table.
On the 5th day, CDC take PCR test with you in front of your room. The test result will be provided by SMS within 48 days. I am tested negative and as planned, can leave hotel after the 7th days. Indeed the whole stay I feel comfortable and like a Staycation but just I cannot leave the room. :)
Checked out on the 8th day after finished breakfast. The checkout time need to prearranged, I planned at 10:35am but due to typhoon I rescheduled to 12:10. Hotel will leave a trolley in front you room, and you need to move luggages and take lift to 8/F to proceed checkout. The checkout is simple, Just provide the rapid test log sheet and can leave.
Thanks all staff’s excellent service to make my stay comfortable and less stressful. I booked another a stay for my daughter when she travels back to Hong Kong in Sep. If I am going to stay in a quarantine hotel again, I will choose W hotel again. :)

My first staycation at W Hong Kong for my girlfriend's birthday celebration which was successfully arranged with surprises.
I mentioned to the staff on phone when inquiring for a package so that I can celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. Then the reservation team forwarded my booking to the W Experience team and they started to follow up by providing suggestions on the room setup for my girlfriends birthday and offered a birthday cake for her. The heart warming part is that they also put a sticker of my girlfriend's favorite character on the birthday card based on the information i provided which i did not expected.
The service of this hotel is excellent. Every staffs that we met are nice and polite. The staff at the front desk, Stephanie if I remember correctly, was extremely nice and professional with great smile. I am so glad that she was the one helping us for room arrangement. Luckily we did not have to lineup when check-in (at around 4 pm something), but we had to wait for quite some time when check-out (around 3 pm). There are so many people but the front desk counter is kind of small.
The room that we stayed is Fantastic Suite which is a great room with nice view. Especially the bathtub is so large with nice supplement provided such as bath bubble and bath salt. Definitely relaxing. The only concern for us regarding the room is too many mirrors. Even the doors of the bedroom and closet are full body mirrors when closed which is kinda not our favor.
Overall it was a wonderful stay at W Hong Kong and thank you for the nice birthday celebration arrangement and decoration by Jessie, Cathy, Cindy, Grace, Kate, Jackie and Kelvin from the W Experience team. I will definitely recommend W Hong Kong to my friends for staycation.

We stayed in a fabulous (oceanfront) room in W. The hotel looked and felt like a designer hotel though the reception space was really small and the queue took up half of the lobby already. They however made up for the tedious waiting process by offering soft drinks which was definitely appreciated!
Room was quite spacious with modern design. Even though the hotel shares the same complex with Ritz Carlton, they are in different locations and don't expect a seaview would give you any of the vic harbour as most of the rooms would face the Yau Ma Tei typhoon shelter.
As the package included some dining credits, we used them in the dinner buffet at the Kitchen. This time we were pleasantly surprised. There were oysters and lobsters and sashimi, all neatly arranged and refilled quickly. The taste was good and at that time the theme was Brazilian and so we got a lot of Portuguese dishes as well.
The worst arrangement would be the swimming pool. Due to the size and the COVID restriction, there was a quota on the # of ppl in the pool at any one time. However, unlike other hotels which you could book your timeslot (and they would ensure ppl would get off at the end of the session), this one you had to turn up and queue for your place! So instead of enjoying yourself at your room most of the time you would have to change into your swimwear and just waited at the entrance (with nowhere to sit) and no idea when the current guests would finish.
