There are already quite a few good rotatable iPad cases available on the market. This one however caught my attention with its subtle yet flexible design.I’ve been waiting for a practical stand like this one for a while! From a distance, it looks just like Apple Smart Folio, however, as you look closely, you’ll notice it’s actually a proper protective case that’d give you extra peace of mind knowing that if you accidentally drop your iPad, your iPad is likely to survive the fall. The feature that stood out the most is the ‘detachable’ cover. You can fold the cover just like you would with the Apple Smart Folio which allows you to position it at the angle of your desire. But with the detachable design, you now have the freedom to not only turn it 90 degrees to position the iPad vertically, but you can also separate your iPad from the ‘stand’ (i.e. the cover) super quickly and leaving it behind, which makes it easy to pass your iPad around (e.g. in a meeting setting) as opposed to cumbersomely passing the entire cover/stand + iPad around.Few things to complain about- Surface material:I really do like the feel of the surface, but after handling it for a couple of hours, I noticed how it attracted the grease/oil (e.g. if you’re looking at a recipe on the iPad while cooking), and if that bothers you, then cleaning the surface would be an ongoing hassle.- Closing the cover doesn’t turn the iPad off:I assumed it was just like Apple Smart Folio, closing the cover meant turning the screen off, so I closed the cover and left to do something else for hours, came back noticing the iPad was feeling quite hot, then found out the screen stayed on (I set my iPad to not go to sleep when it’s plugged in)- Apple Pencil not charging:The thickness of the silicon on the side makes my iPad detecting the Apple Pencil challenging. I’ve noticed how my Apple Pencil ran out of battery because it wasn’t charging!I pressed it harder on the Apple Pencil (sitting in the ‘grove’) against the side of the case, and the iPad then detected the Apple Pencil and began charging, but when I released the pressure, it went ‘offline’ againPros:- Sleek/subtle design- Quality feel to the surface- Detachable cover- Actual case that protects the iPad- Flexibility with positioning the iPad and angling the cover/standCons:- Surface material that attracts grease- Closing the cover doesn’t turn the iPad off- Silicon thickness on the side of the case prevent Apple Pencil from charging

This case comes w/ two parts, the folio (which is familiar) and another outer case for the iPad Pro itself. You put the iPad into the outer case and the folio works w/ the iPad+outcase on it.I really like this design for when I’m using the iPad as a tablet (w/ the Apple Pencil Pro or for consuming media). Also, given how thin the iPad Pro is, the outer case is nice and gives the device some thickness when charging your Apple Pencil.I do think the folio adds some bulk overall but that is to be expected. What is nice, though, is that I can just take the tablet out of the folio easily and it is still protected w/ the outer case. Similar to how you can grab the iPad from the Magic Keyboard, but the difference is that it not protected w/ a case w/ the Magic Keyboard.

I absolutely love that the case separates from the folio portion. My only complaint is that, even when separated, it can’t be used with the Magic Keyboard. I would love to have a case that works with the Magic Keyboard. It’s such a pain to have to take it out of its case to use it. Or to risk using the iPad without a case when I detach it from the Magic Keyboard. Otherwise, the case is great. I love that it keeps the Apple Pencil in place, that it is thin & light, that the back of the case is clear when detached from the folio, & that it is still very protective while being so thin & light.

The case fits the iPad 13inch perfectly. However, it seems quite delicate, hope it doesn’t get damaged soon. One important thing to note is that it’s heavy. It practically doubles the weight of the iPad

When I opened the mailer, the box containing the case was already open and the label was wrong because it stated iPad Pro 12.9 2025.However, I decided to try it out. The case I order had an inner case and the magnet folio so it was basically a 2 piece product. Both the pieces 100% fit my iPad Pro 13” M4 2024 with the new Apple Pencil pro too.I will update this review later on performance and longevity.

Good value, sturdy case. Has a bad smell (which will air out). The various ways of setting up the case are rigid enough that you can rest your hand on the iPad when using it, so it’s really nice for digital painters since you don’t need to carry an extra stand. The main flaw is that the apple pencil snaps on in a way that’s about 1cm offset from the groove molded into the case/where the flap is, so no matter which way your pencil is pointing you will have some of it unprotected.

Fits IPad Pro 13” m4 like a glove! All ports are perfectly aligned & accessible. Not only does this case appear to be very well-made, it is well thought out to ensure that you get the absolute most out of it, ie…the guiding placement lines & arrows, etc.PORTRAIT mode/magnetic, detachable case (along with numerous other stand positions) were my #1 reasons for initially choosing THIS case. I wanted extra protection for my IPad Pro 13” when I’m on the go or moving around, since I don’t use any case when it’s on my magnetic desk stand. All of my other interests were completely met with this stand too. Sturdy/no flopping down. It’s the strongest folio-type cover I’ve ever purchased for any of my iPads. Hands down, better than Apple’s limited folio. I especially appreciate the detachable, clear & magnetic, case AND the Apple Pencil cover & charging access. Overall, sharp, clean, simple, flexible & professional looking.

good quality at a very good price, if I had one minor issue, the magnets holding the inner case to the outer case could do with being a bit stronger, occasionally when opening or rotating they will separate.
