About me

I studied medicine in Budapest, Hungary in the Semmelweis University and have been working as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist in the National Institute for Psychiatry and Neurology, on the Psychotherapy Department of the National Institute for Medical Rehibilitation, later in private practice in Budapest.

I was trained in psychoanalysis, in psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapie and in group psychotherapy.
I am a member of the Hungarian and the International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA) and the European Psychotherapy Association (EAP).

I was also trained in conflict management, mediation, facilitative leadership in the USA (Partners International, San Diego Mediation Center, Interaction Associates), and in cross-border family mediation in Berlin, at the International Mediation Center for Family Conflicts and Child Abduction.
As the leader of a mediation center (Partners for Democratic Change Hungary) for several years I was providing trainings in conflict management and mediation in Hungary and internationally, and I am a mediator licenced by the Hungarian Ministry of Justice.

As a visiting professor of the Central European University I have been teaching in Hungary up to 2019, since then in Vienna.
I was also recognized in Austria as a Specialist for Psychiatry and Psychotherapeutic Medizin and started my private praxis in 2020 in Vienna.
