Samuel David Andrews, 83, of North Wales, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, April 27th, 2018. He was a loving and faithful husband to Hazel Ann Andrews for 63 years. Born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, he graduated from Norristown High School and attended Temple University. Sam was employed by Merck & Company for 30 years before his retirement. After his retirement he continued to take care of his family especially his great-granddaughter Aziza since her birth. Sam and Hazel are members of Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church. He was also a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Sam enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, spending time on his boat and being with his family. He is survived by his wife and three children, Samuel Jr. (Judye), Tina Andrews and Dondi Brown; three grandchildren, Ahtia Andrews, Laura Ashley James (David), and Zacharia Andrews; one great-grandchild, Aziza; two sisters, Pisetta Malone (Alfred), Carrie Mae Andrews; one brother, Daniel Andrews and a host of beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pisetta Andrews; two brothers, Edward Mason and Monroe Russell; and, one sister, Lois Parker. Funeral Mass Thursday 10:30 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church 424 S. Main St. North Wales, PA 19454. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing at the Church Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM and Thursday after 9:30 AM. Interment Private. Arrangements William R. Hazel, May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Sam was a wonderful man. We were lucky to have had the pleasure to know him. The world is a little darker without his bright light. Love to you and your family.
