Sky’s BAFTA-winning sports comedy series A League of Their Own returned to screens in October 2023 for its 18th season. With the new series came a new name as Mo Gilligan, one of TV’s most in-demand stars, joined the line-up which includes Jamie Redknapp, Jill Scott, Micah Richards and host, Romesh Ranganathan.
The 18th series, available on Sky Max and streaming service NOW, welcomed star guests from the worlds of sport, comedy, and television joining the teams each week including Stuart Broad, Mary Earps, Christian Horner, Daniel Sturridge, Tom Davis, Katherine Ryan, Rob Beckett, Jimmy Carr, Maisie Adam, Guz Khan, Alex Brooker, Big Zuu, and more.

Comedian and presenter, Romesh Ranganathan returned to host the 18th season.
Who is on the Red Team?
ALOTO veteran Jamie Redknapp is the team captain for the Red Team – a role he’s held since series one aired back in 2010. He teams up with comedian, presenter, and triple BAFTA-winner Mo Gilligan – a familiar face from past series and one of the most celebrated TV stars right now.
Who is on the Blue Team?
Opposite the red team is Lioness legend and blue team captain Jill Scott, along with former Man City and England right-back, Micah Richards.
What happens this season?
Madcap challenges for the ALOTO family to face include a penalty challenge in front of a packed-out Old Trafford crowd, a Peloton challenge to become the best instructor, and a Bazball inspired ALOTO cricket challenge.
