This one is somewhat of an oddity in the Twisted Sister discography as it doesn't quit fit the mould, being of a more pop/rock sort of album apposed to a gritty heavy metal record. While Love Is For Suckers saw release in the late 80’s during the height of the hair metal movement it certainly was far from the ‘Sisters best output and had a strange feeling of trying to be modern and yet still typically 80’s. I’m So Hot For You is one I can pick out for having a (at the time) modern and uncharacteristic feel to it and this worked well to create the highlight of the album, while others such as Me And The Boys tried to be slightly over dramatic and didn’t seem to work quite so well. It was a period in while TS were trying to change and as a result they fell out of the limelight with this solid but slightly disappointing record, which wasn’t a patch on their previous efforts. Soon after the band would go their separate was it would take nearly twenty years of biter feuding before they would re-unite.
