A Love Trilogy

A Love Trilogy served as the second installment in Donna Summer’s three-album concept of love. This album featured her then-distinct moans and groans that featured in her second album, Love to Love You Baby, and also featured a cover of the Barry Manillow hit, Could It Be Magic.

The first side of the LP featured the nearly 18 minute long Try Me, I Know We Can Make It which was split into three parts: Try Me, I Know, We Can Make It that varies through the song. The album reached the top 40 of the US Billboard 200.
