Dorothy E. Stone

Dorothy E. Stone, age 85 of Columbus, died Tuesday November 29, 2022. She was born in Booneville, Indiana on June 25, 1937 to the late Commodore and Stella (Krause) Simpson. She was a graduate of the Holland Indiana HS Class of ‘54. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters. Dorothy’s family meant everything to her, and her love for them will endure for eternity. Surviving her is her husband of 66 years, Raymond Stone; children Donald (Pamela) Stone, Cheryl (Nicholas) Calderone, Nancy (Kevin) Cameron, Carolyn (Ron) Roten, and Barbara (Dennis) Taylor; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren, and her sisters Hilda Wetzel, Sharon Kamman, and Louella Sattler. Dorothy was a member of the Linworth United Methodist Church where she was very active. Friends may call on Monday, December 5, 2022 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, Ohio from 11:00am to 12:00pm, where a service will be held at 12:00 pm.
