Did Love Is Dead help anyone else through a fucked up breakup? Just me?

I’ll never forget when it came out, dropped as soon as I got out of a mentally abusive long term relationship. I was in school at the time, and I’ll never forget: I was doing a bunch of homework, plugged my headphones into my laptop in the school library, and just steamed the entire thing on YouTube as I worked, and my god, I was taken into pure euphoria and relatability.

Not a breakup but it did help me through the worst mental health episode of my life. Still my favorite album and Wonderland has a special place in my heart 💜

Lauren, it helped Lauren

CHVRCHES has a special place in my heart, at my lowest point, their songs encouraged me, and really my dream is to go to a concert

It came out during the worst year of my life and helped me mend myself. By the end of the tour I was back on my feet again. Even with Screen Violence, it is still one of my all time favorite albums.

Never Say Die became my motto after that.

Hit at the “perfect” time in my separation/divorce.

well it didn't help me in such a serious situation per se, but it is currently helping me get through my exams and having that perfect playlist always helps you to get through stuff

Their music does positive things for me. No breakup tho. Just a general brain maintenance
