A transitional album on which the band moved from Syd Barrett's relatively concise and vivid songs to spacy, ethereal material with lengthy instrumental passages. Barrett's influence is still felt, and much of the material retains a gentle, fairy-tale ambience.
Wow Pink Floyd, you finally did it. You got something above a 5 out of me. 2021 is already an unhinged year.

A very solid early Pink Floyd album. I'd say out of their 60s albums (Piper, Ummagumma, More), this is my favorite or second favorite one.
