TV Series Starring Jon Hamm, Amanda Peet & Olivia Munn To Film In Westchester

Police say the magic of Hollywood coming to the Hudson Valley will make some parking at the Rye Train Station temporarily disappear.

According to Deadline, in the series mostly referred to as "Your Friends And Neighbors," Jon Hamm stars as "Coop, a recently divorced hedge fund manager who, after being fired, resorts to stealing from the wealthy residents in his tony upstate NY suburb."

RYE, NY — If you notice a shady character trying to steal from your "friends and neighbors" in Westchester, it might just be movie star Jon Hamm playing a role in his upcoming Apple Studios series.

On April 17, The Rye City Council approved the closure of the Highland parking lot on Monday, April 29, for Apple Studios, LLC to film an episode of "Swipe," starring Jon Hamm, Amanda Peet, and Olivia Munn, on Purchase Street and Purdy Avenue.

According to the Rye Police Department, the lot will be closed from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Police say that Car Park #4 will also have a section closed off for filming, with 35 spots unavailable.

All cars must be moved out of the lot by 6 a.m. Permit holders will be allowed to move their vehicles to any MTA lot for free starting on Sunday, April 28. Non-permit holders will be allowed to use the MTA lots for free on April 29, after 9 a.m.

In addition, parking spots will be occupied at the following addresses at certain times:

  • 57 Purchase Street, 3 spots, 7 a.m. - noon
  • 3 Purdy Avenue, 2 spots, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • 12 Purdy Avenue, 2 spots, 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.

According to Deadline, in the series mostly referred to as "Your Friends And Neighbors," Jon Hamm stars as "Coop, a recently divorced hedge fund manager who, after being fired, resorts to stealing from the wealthy residents in his tony upstate New York suburb in order to keep his family's lifestyle afloat. These petty crimes begin to reinvigorate him until he breaks in to the wrong house at the wrong time."

The location manager for the series said that the show is expected to air in December of this year.
