Ajay’s post comes a day after his nephew Aaman Devgn’s birthday post. Ajay has always been expressive on social media about his love for his mother. For instance, on Women’s Day in March 2022, he introduced himself as Veena Devgn’s son.

Kajol also shares a warm relationship with her mother-in-law. She had earlier revealed how she was mocked for calling her mother-in-law ‘aunty’ and not ‘mummy’ but Veena always gave her the time and space for their relationship to bloom. During an earlier interview with Twinkle Khanna on her Twinkle’s Tweak India YouTube channel. Kajol shared, “Fortunately for me, my mother-in-law has given me that time and space. And I know for a fact, we used to sit, and her friends would come over, and they’d be like, ‘Arey, woh tumhe mummy nahi bulati hai, maa nahi bulati hai (She doesn’t call you mom)?’ And my mother-in-law would turn around very proudly and say, ‘Woh jab maa bulayegi na, dil se niklega, dimaag se nahi niklega (When she does, it’ll come from the heart, not from the head).’ I was so heartened, I was touched. She’s giving me the time to grow into whoever I’m supposed to be. She’s giving me that space. My respect for her deepened.”

Ajay’s next film is Shaitaan, a supernatural thriller directed by Vikas Bahl. The actor will be seen in the film alongside Jyothika and R Madhavan. Shaitaan marks Jyothika’s return to Hindi cinema after 25 years. The film is produced by Ajay, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. The film is set to release on March 8.
