RoSeal icon
RoSeal is a browser extension for the Roblox website created by Julli4n, which adds additional features and functionality to the Roblox website. It is available for Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome (including all Chromium-based browsers). The extension is themed around earless seals.
Features[]
RoSeal's features are intended to not interrupt Roblox functionality (with some exceptions), instead augmenting it. Every feature can be disabled in the RoSeal Settings, located in the Roblox account settings.

RoSeal also adds some secret seal-themed easter eggs to the Roblox website.
There are currently no paywalls to use features.
History[]
The idea behind RoSeal was first discussed in the Roblox Wiki's Discord server, in the channel for Roblox Interwiki Project staff. On May 31, 2022, Julli4n was discussing the idea of making a browser extension for the Roblox website, and observing that many other Roblox browser extensions started with "Ro"; Karasuneth replied to this with "RoSeal", which Julli4n was interested by. Shortly after, Julli4n created the RoSeal development folder. Private testing for the extension began in July 2022. A concept for the RoSeal icon was created by Karasuneth on July 11, 2022; a proper icon was created by MaciejCreates based on this concept on September 21, 2022. MaciejCreates also made a group for RoSeal with the new icon.

RoSeal was first publicly released on December 25, 2022, as version Mizore 1.00. The major version name takes from Mizore, a ringed seal at Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan who had gained notability on the internet in 2021 from videos of him as a seal pup learning to swim. The 1.00 changelog for RoSeal mentions that every major version release of RoSeal would be named after a real-life seal.[1]
RoSeal first gained notability a while after the release of UGC collectibles, after Julli4n showcased a work-in-progress RoSeal feature to quickly refresh details on item pages and bypass the confirmation window for free items.[2] This feature became very desirable for players wanting to obtain collectibles sold for free, who were having to compete with bots. On April 12, 2023, a public beta build of RoSeal with these features was distributed in RoSeal's Discord guild by Julli4n. The feature was implemented into the live extension in versions 1.25 (Chromium) and 1.26 (Firefox & Edge). On April 19, 2023, SharkBL0X made a video on RoSeal, though primarily focusing on the refresh feature. RoSeal's number of users shot up from just above 1,200 to over 100,000 on Chrome in the weeks after these occurrences. Later updates added some additional visibility of Roblox errors relating to items; however, some RoSeal users did not understand these errors were not caused by RoSeal, resulting in some mistaken negative reviews and feedback. RoSeal's Discord guild also had to disallow discussing limited items and collectibles on April 23, 2023, due to numerous members trying to only discuss limited items and repeatedly request more features related to limiteds, which began to hinder other discussions about the extension.
