Tsukasa, a college student, is rescued from an attack by a devil, one of many vampires that can blend in among the human population. And I feel a void inside. I shouldn't have read it all in one go.
Anyway...
I was a little disappointed, not gonna lie. I was hoping Anzai would get a chance to meet with his father. I imagine they eventually will but I wanted to see the reunion. Couples left up in the air (so much unrequited love in this manga, man, it hurt). My boy Ishimaru potentially in trouble. I just needed more.
But it was a good ride, regardless.

Yeah, I wanted to see him meet his father too. I probably feel sorriest for him in the whole story.
Oh, absolutely. Completely tragic. Lost his love, became a murderer, addicted to blood, imprisoned for life, married but can't really be with his wife, can't meet or hug his child... It's so sad, it almost makes me cry.
I know am late and I didn’t read the manga but I would like to ask you some stuff if u don’t mind.
I have just watched Devils lines, it’s amazing but the thing is they were supposed to do season 2 but since it’s underrated, didn’t get that popular they didn’t sadly. but, I would like to know do anzai stay alive at the end or he dies, if he stays alive do he gets married with Tsukasa by time and have gets to have kids and gets to control his devil side thanks
Anzai is alive and well. He does learn to control his impulses but not completely; they're still working on it. He becomes a lot more comfortable with the devil side of him, learns to not hate himself.
The manga doesn't leap far into the future, so there is no marriage or children at the end. It ends with Anzai meeting Tsukasa's parents and them eventually approving of him.
They do talk about their future and agree to marry but Anzai says he still needs some more time to grow. They do have an argument about children. Tsukasa wants them, Anzai doesn't and he firmly tells her it's not gonna happen because a pregnancy comes with risks for Tsukaka. After they cool down, Anzai apologizes and Tsukasa says she's open to adoption or possibly using a vampire surrogate to carry their baby.
