If you're in the area then you should definitely visit Perak Tong. It's one of a few temples within a cave in Malaysia and has a relaxed and thought provoking vibe to it. I can recommend it but only for an hour or so.

Worth a visit if you’re in the area. It is a beautiful temple nestled in a large cave. The lighting within the cave makes photographing an easy task.

You have Tasik Camin 1 and 2.
Camin 1 is nothing but you walk 50 min in a man made tunnel that opens to a query and you take a 25 Ringgit per person boat ride here.
    Lake is called mirror lake.
Casim 2 is little more adventurous as you take boat ride via a dark tunnel of 100m.
Same price here also for boat ride- really worth.

There is not much to visit unless you are photogenic or have kids then you can consider this place. You may take the boat to cross the lake to visit. The cost will be RM3 per person. There are few animals to visit if you cross the lake. And need to wait for the return boat if you are too bored to visit there. The man-made waterfall is closed for a visit. So nothing much to visit here. For us is a waste of time to wait for the boat.

Nice place to visit. There was a lake and you have to use the boat to cross it from jetty to the island. At island you can see monkeys, birds and others and there was mini zoo as well. Your kids will love to see the animals

GoChin Pomelo Farm is the best and the only farm you can visit the pomelo and other fruits trees in Tambun. The oldest tree is 50 years.

Park close to Kinta river. Good for morning walks as it is not crowded like pool ground. Watch out for mosquitoes near shrubbery especially during rainy season. Bridges over large pond which has tilapia, koi and turtles.

After experiencing months of movement control order, finally a nice place to go with my family. Around 30minutes to get to the observation deck site. The view from top is superb and astounding. The air is so fresh and chill.

This park is very popular. When we went in the evening, some people were flying kites in the open field, children were running around playing all sorts of games, the playground was full. The exercise equipment in the gym corner was also quite popular. Children could also rent roller blades, tricycles, etc. A great place to spend the evening with your family or loved ones!

It's open 6 to 10am and 4.30 to 6.30pm. It's a lovely park for jogging or leisure with friends and family. Only has 1 toilets which is under maintenance. It would be nice if Taiko can provide table and chair with USB, so people can have picnic with hot tea.

It is a big park with many interesting features. Good to see it well utilised by the young and old, singles and families. Plenty of space for children to play and trails for jogging. I like the landscape with bridges and lakes and big trees. Nice place to go for recreation.

    - some activity such as riding a motor car, bike are expensive

No site map at ticket office or any boards. Hard to find trails. Some had tape across them but were clear and easy walking, some were muddy and more challenging. A loop was 2.5km.
Toilets. Lovely stream with waterfalls you can bathe in. No refreshments that I saw. Empty campsite. Plenty of parking.
