Terri Treas is the definition of an iconic trailblazer. Originally from Kansas City, she left home at fifteen after being accepted on a scholarship to the prestigious Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. Terri’s determination, talent, and hutzpah pushed her to audition for Bob Fosse at sixteen years old. Two years later, Fosse hired her for the Broadway production of "Pippin" and would later cast her in "Dancin.'"

Some of her eight Broadway shows include roles in the original cast of Tony Award-winning composer Stephen Schwartz’s musical "Working," Bob Fosse's "Pippin"and "Dancin'," "Pal Joey," and "My Fair Lady."

California came calling when Terri was cast in the film "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" alongside Dolly Parton.  She is best known for the role of Cathy Frankel in the hit FOX television series "Alien Nation." The series was a massive success and was followed by five "Alien Nation" television movies.

Her television credits also include series regular roles in "DEA," "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers," and "Santa Barbara." Some of her feature film credits include "The Fabulous Baker Boys," "House 4," "The Nest," "Little Miss Millions," and "All That Jazz."

Always in search of more creative challenges, she turned her attention behind the camera as a writer-producer for hour television dramas. Terri wrote and produced for "Silk Stalkings," "Pacific Blue" and for J.J. Abrams' hit series "Felicity."

Teaching has been second-nature for Terri. Her passion for teaching began in her teens, when she taught at her mother's dance studio in Kansas City. While she was working in Hollywood, she taught for Jeff Corey, a member of the Federal Theater Project and one of the most respected acting teachers in Hollywood. She has also taught at USC, The Playground, The LA Performing Arts School and the Orange County School of the Arts.
