Las diferencias con respecto al anterior "Passionfruit" son dos:
Por un lado, se agregan aquí músicos de más renombre (solamente ver la lista de algunos de los bajistas produce admiración: Marcus Miller, Ron Carter, Mark Eagan.. Wow!).
Por otro, las canciones son muy irregulares: Algunas son muy bellas, otras parecen faltas de inspiración, casi por mitades.
Pero las canciones bellas, marcan la diferencia, y justifican la nota alta: "Let Me Count the Ways"; "Your Secret's Safe With Me"; "When I Give My Love to You"; "When She Is Mine".
En resumen, un álbum irregular, donde la mitad de las canciones son de muy alto nivel.

even if the mix of new wave & smooth jazz sounds intriguing the album lacks catchiness and songwriting skills which Michael left somewhere for this record.
