A tricky dog leg for a tram on this steep section of road near Fitzclarence Street. The camera is clearly more interesting than the approaching Green Goddess for the small boy.

Hi, I grew up in Fitzclarence street number 3 which was facing the Welsh chapel which was bombed. Happy days going to the pictures at least 3 times a weeks my sister and me use to play in the park Rupert street. Most days we would go to bakery for bread and cakes one of my favourite was the pudding cake. The school i when to was SFX in Shaw Street. Really great times growing up then and I wish I could go back. David b
