If you're here looking for MMO isekai, you'll probably be disappointed. Gaming here merely serves as a plot device, although it's been used well. It also takes a while for the show to really get going. As you'll notice in some of the reviews, many viewers dropped out by the third episode, and I can't really fault them for it. Half the cast doesn't even get introduced until episode 4. It was enjoyable enough, but I was still on the fence through episode 5. But now it feels like the show has really hit its stride . . . and it was well worth the wait! Not a show for everyone. If you enjoy the leisurely pace of slice-of-life anime (as I do) and relatably awkward personal interactions, this is a good one to try. If you prefer laugh-a-minute comedy, video game action sequences, or trope-y ecchi scenes with busty gals, take heart: there are plenty of those types of offerings under the "More Like This" banner below. Not many others like this one, though.
