startup[edit]

I just copy and pasted the contents from Bahá'í teachings and Bahá'í Faith. It needs much work and organizing. I added See also and categories. Cuñado - Talk 20:44, 16 September 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

???[edit]

This line: "Though inaccessible directly, God is nevertheless seen as conscious of his creation, with a mind, will and purpose." Is it saying that God was created? - "Conscious of his creation"? Corn.u.co.pia Discussion 07:41, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It is saying that God is conscious of the events of the universe, "us", his creation. Regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 11:45, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Oh yes. Now I see. I didn't see it from that angle. Thanks. Btw, the wording is much better now. Corn.u.co.pia Discussion 12:40, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Additions on panentheism[edit]

Hi Cyrus19Baha, welcome to Wikipedia! It is always great to see new editors getting involved!

Thank you for adding the point about panentheism at the top and for citing a source there (by Moojan Momen). I got curious whether there were other sources on the Baha'i Faith and panentheism and found a similar point in a 2013 book by Robert Stockman, so I added an additional source for that sentence. However, the long section you added below did not cite any sources so I removed it. The goal of Wikipedia is to provide reliable information to our readers so we make a point of requiring reliable sources and not allowing original research by editors (i.e., people can't put their own ideas if those ideas don't already appear in published sources).

I hope it is not too discouraging having your material removed... there can be a steep learning curve at first on Wikipedia, but editing is a really rewarding experience once you get the hang of it. To learn about citing sources on Wikipedia, I recommend clicking this link: Help:Referencing for beginners. I think some of the material you added could be useful if you can find sources to back it up. If you have questions or would like help with the details of adding sources, I'm happy to help!

Thanks and I hope you stick around as an editor. Gazelle55 Let's talk! 23:16, 8 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
