The Order is an American drama TV series created by Dennis Heaton and Shelley Eriksen that aired as a Netflix original series on March 7, 2019.
On April 17, 2018, it was announced that the show had been given a 10-episode order for the first season and would be produced by Nomadic Pictures. Principal photography wrapped up in July of 2018.[1] The show aired on March 7, 2019.
On March 28, 2019, Netflix announced that the series was renewed for a second season that would consist of 10 episodes.[2]
The second season aired June 18, 2020.
Premise[]
The show is set to follow "college freshman Jack Morton, who joins a fabled secret society, The Order, where he is thrust into a world of magic, monsters, and intrigue. As Jack goes deeper, he uncovers dark family secrets and an underground battle between werewolves and the magical dark arts."[3]
It is "a magical and terrifying journey to uncover our true selves — and the monsters that hide within."
